DL25 driving test report

The DL25 driving test report form

The DL25 is the form examiners use to mark your test. You will not see it though as it is now marked on a tablet.

During the test the examiner has to mark certain sections as you complete them. Just because they are tapping the tablet does not mean you received a fault

Pass mark

You will pass your test if you

  • Make less than 15 driving faults

  • No serious faults

  • No dangerous faults

There are 3 types of faults

  • Dangerous - actual danger to you, the examiner or the public

  • Serious - something potentially dangerous

  • Driving - Not potentially dangerous but could be serious if you keep repeating it
