I Daniel Prince trading as Eastside Driving School respects your privacy and I am committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how I collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you take driving lessons or in contacting me.

  • Contact details: Full name, address, email address, and phone number.

  • Identification details: Date of birth and provisional driving licence number (including check codes).

  • Lesson records: Dates and times of lessons, progress tracking, test results, and notes on driving ability.

  • Financial data: Records of payments made, bank details for refunds (cash or bank transfer records).

How I use Your Information

  • To provide and manage driving tuition.

  • To communicate with you regarding lesson bookings, changes, and test appointments.

  • To keep accurate accounting and business records.

  • To protect both parties in the event of any dispute or claim related to training or payments.

Data Storage And Security

  • Paper records (such as progress cards or booking diaries) are stored securely in a locked location or with me at all times.

  • Digital records (such as booking apps, emails, and texts) are kept on password-protected devices.

How Long I Keep Your Data

  • I retain your personal data and lesson records for up to 6 years (standard accounting timeframe) after your last lesson or test to comply with tax and legal obligations.

  • Photos for social media (such as passing your test) are only posted with your explicit, separate consent.
