Terms & Conditions

Licence Check: You must hold a valid provisional, full, or international driving licence. I must check your driving licence before your first lesson. It must be an original and not a copy or photograph.

Eyesight: You must meet the legal eyesight requirement. You must be able to read a standard number plate from 20 metres (with glasses or contacts if needed).

Fitness: You must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prescription medication that affects driving capability. If I believe you are unfit to drive, the lesson will be cancelled immediately, and you will be charged the full lesson fee.

24-Hour Notice: You must give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an agreed lesson.

Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you must pay the full fee for that lesson.

Instructor Cancellations: I reserve the right to rearrange lessons due to mechanical breakdown, extreme weather, illness, or driving test clashes. I will give you as much notice as possible.

Punctuality: I will wait up to 20 minutes at the agreed pickup point. If you do not arrive within the time limit, the lesson is cancelled, and you will be charged the full lesson fee. If I am running late, I will text you and add the lost time to the end of the lesson or a future booking.

Payment Timing: All individual lessons must be paid for in advance.

Block Booking Discount: A 10% discount is applied to upfront payments for a 10-hour block booking.

3-Month Expiry: All funds held on account must be used within 3 months of the purchase date. Any unused hours or funds remaining after 3 months will expire and are non-refundable.

Any funds remaining after you pass you practical driving test will be refunded. Any refund will be completed within 10 days of receiving your accounts details for the transfer.

14-Day Cooling-Off Period: You have a legal right to cancel a block booking package within a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. This refund is only available if no lessons have been started within that block. Once the first lesson of a block booking has commenced, the package becomes non-refundable.

Booking: You must consult with me before booking your practical driving test to ensure the car is available.

Vehicle Refusal: I reserve the right to withhold the use of my car for the driving test if I believe your driving standard is unsafe or does not meet test requirements.

Test Day Fee: The test day is charged at a flat rate of a 2 hour lesson to cover the pre-test drive, the test itself, and the journey home.
